Jan Selander, the Executive Director of Forest City Consulting, is a visionary leader known for her expertise in organizational transformation. With a Master’s Degree from Aurora University, she is dedicated to fostering organizational health through her deep understanding of leadership dynamics and team development.
Her extensive career spans both the public and non-profit sectors, including significant roles at United Airlines and various non-profits. Jan’s adaptability and broad understanding of organizational challenges have made her a skilled consultant, guiding public entities and government agencies toward their potential.
Certified by the International Coaching Federation as a Professional and Advanced Team Coach, Jan also holds certifications from Brown University/ACTLeader in Leadership and Performance Coaching. Additionally, she is trained in Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Circle, and Psychological Safety in the Workplace. Her approach combines empirical knowledge with practical application.
As an experienced educator, Jan has taught graduate-level coursework and conducted community workshops, shaping future leaders. Andrew Selander, a dedicated consultant and educator at Forest City Consulting, is on a quest for knowledge as he finalizes his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Adler University. He also holds a Master’s Degree from Aurora University. Andrew’s passion lies in enlightening and empowering leaders, teams, and organizations, equipping them with the essential tools to turn their visions into tangible realities.
